Sonia DAnon The Fort Greene tennis community has been an invaluable part of my life since I moved to the neighborhood three years ago, and I’m honored to be a member of the FGTA board. I’m interested in organizing tournaments and other events. One of my favorite activities over the past few years has been captaining USTA teams, composed mostly of Fort Greene players, and I’d love to be able to bring what I’ve learned from this experience to FGTA events. I’m also interested in designing and coming up with ideas for new Fort Greene merchandise.

amadou diallo I've lived in Ft Greene for 18 years and have seen the courts expand from the crew of regulars who created such a welcoming community all those years ago to the vibrant scene it has now become with organized tournaments, Grand Slam watch parties and much needed amenities like windscreens and benches. I'm a writer and journalist and am happy to lend my skills to grant writing and public communications in the ongoing endeavor for court resurfacing and hopefully one day, lighting for nighttime play.

sherif ashmawy I've been a NYC tennis person all of my life and have lived in Fort Greene since 2006 with my then girlfriend and now Wife Stacy and son Ramsey. I’m interested in organizing more fitness and tennis instructional group events. Not all of our members are as competitive and many are in it for the health benefits and the betterment of their game though not for competition, we can certainly help in those areas...especially with the new court being made available.
