Doubles Tournament 2026

Registration will open on Tuesday, September 8 at 12pm. Sign up to reserve your spot. REGISTER HERE when registration opens.

This year's tournament has three draws:

  • A draw 

  • B draw 

  • Mixed doubles

Registration fee is $100 per team. All entrants will receive a T shirt. 

Please sign up promptly when the registration link is live, spots will go fast. We have space for 28 A teams, 28 B teams, and 16 mixed teams. There will be four waitlist spots for each division. 

Match format is best of three Fast 4 sets. You must win a set by two games. At 4-4, a 7-point tiebreaker (win by two points) is played. The third set is a 10-point tiebreaker (win by two points).

All games use ad scoring.

We will also have open play following the matches on Sunday. More details will follow on the timing of open play.

The annual FGTA Open will be held across two weekends.

For the first time, this year's tournament has three draws:

  • A draw (5.0 - 5.5 players)

  • B draw (4.0 - 4.5 players)

  • C Draw (3.0 - 3.5 players)

Match format is best of three Fast 4 sets. You must win a set by two games. At 4-4, a 7-point tiebreaker (win by two points) is played. The third set is a 10-point tiebreaker (win by two points).

All games use ad scoring.

The tournament will be single elimination with the potential for a short-format back draw over the second weekend.

Women's Day

Join the FGTA for Women’s Day on Sunday, July 19 to celebrate women’s tennis in our community. From 9AM to 4PM, courts will be open to women only.

This year, we're partnering with Love & Lob to host a special drill and play for players of all skill levels. Meet other women who play at Fort Greene and work on your game.

  • 11AM to 1PM: High intermediate and advanced players.

  • 1PM to 3PM: Beginner and low intermediate players. Each court will have a coach with a max of 8 players per court.

$65 per person

Spots are limited to 24 spots for 11am to 1pm and 48 spots for 1pm to 3pm.

Register your child for a fun afternoon of tennis instruction and games! All experience levels welcome. Supported by Kings County Tennis League.

Registration closes on Friday, April 10th. First come first serve. We will email you back to let you know if you're in.

LADDER YEAR END CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our last major event of the year! The Ladder Championships are the culmination of hundreds of ladder matches throughout the summer. The top 16 contenders in the A, B, and Women’s Ladders will face off.

The tournament will be held October 7-8. Expect the courts to be very busy on both days.
